How to find the users correct office and can I move them?

If you are trying to find out which Pulse office a user should be in with limited information provided by the client or because the user moved offices, you need to follow the following steps:

  1. Go to the address book and search for the user
  2. Click to edit. Make note of the userid in the URL
  3. At the top with a red label is ‘LEDGER:’
  4. Go to the Staff Feed for that ledger https://havaspulse.com/agresso.php
  5. Click Agresso Sync Status
  6. Search for the user’s Ledger 
  7. Click to open ‘STAFF’
  8. Search for the user by userid using CRTL & F (windows) 
  9. Check what the users default_branch is. Copy this
  10. Now to go https://havaspulse.com/agresso.php?action=mappings
  11. Search for the branch to Pulse office mapping by using CTRL & F and searching the ‘default_branch’ value
  12. If there is more than 1 option (because branches are not unique between US & UK) then use common sense ;). The users ledger needs to match the ledger of the office 
  13. Now you have the Office Name 

Can I move them?

  1. If the user is moving to a new office in the SAME finance profile, you can do with pleasure
  2. If the user is moving to an office in a new finance profile then quickly check does the user have any pending unprocessed time? 
  3. To do this, go to the time report https://havaspulse.com/v2/reports/timesheets/time
  4. Set ‘User’ to the user name
  5. Set the date range to the first of the current year to the current date
  6. Set the TIME STATUS to ‘Saved but not submitted’, ‘Pending Approval’ and ‘Rejected’
  7. Click Filter
  8. The desired result here is no results:
    1. Saved time should either be deleted or submitted
    2. Pending Approval time should be approved
    3. Rejected time should be fixed and resubmitted
  9. Once that is clear, check to see any failed time
  10. Set TIME STATUS to ‘Approved’ and AGRESSO STATUS to ‘Problem’, ‘Failed’ and ‘Waiting to be processed’
  11. Again, the desired result here is no results
  12. Once this is clear, you can change the user’s office
