Once a project is created, an email is automatically sent to the Finance Team to trigger a financial review.
The Finance Team are members of an Office’s Finance Group. These groups are usually identified by the letters “FM” appearing at the start of the group’s name or within the group’s name,
Before any financial or timesheet data can be added, the project must be reviewed and approved.
During this approval step, the Finance Manager will check key financial settings, including:
- Payment terms
- Price list
- Profit centre
- Finance document workflows
Until this approval is completed, the project remains in Pending Project Approval status. Project Approval.
