When you share a Dashboard, you’ll choose whether people can just view it, or whether they can also edit it. If someone has edit permission, they can also view and delete the Dashboard. People with view permission only can open the Dashboard, duplicate it, or set it as their homepage. If someone hasn’t been given any permissions, the Dashboard won’t appear for them.
Dashboards are role- and permission-based. What you see depends on:
- Your user category defines what System Dashboard you’ll see by default (e.g. Operations, Project Manager, Account Manager)
- Your user name, user category, office, brand, and master client mappings gives you access to view permissions for additional Dashboards.
Admins or users with the Dashboard Manager permission can:
- Share Dashboards with entire user categories, offices, groups, brands and master client
To allow group-level sharing, the Dashboard Manager permission override is enabled in the Address Book.
Portal Manager Access
Super Users have an extra option under their avatar menu: Portal Manager. This links to the Portal Manager, where you can see and manage all pages, with full permissions. Regular users won’t see this option.
Summary
The Dashboard Manager helps you:
- Bring together key widgets for your role
- Share insights with the right people
- Keep your home page focused on what matters most
By mastering Dashboard creation, permissions, and layout, you can make Pronto work the way you do.
