You can create a dashboard that shows exactly what you need — recent projects, review activity, finance insights, inbox messages — all tailored to your role.
When you create a new dashboard you’ll land on the Edit Page view. From here you choose a template, add a name and short description, and (if you’re a Dashboard Manager) control who can see or edit it.

How to create a Dashboard
- Go to Apps → Dashboards → Create Dashboard (this opens the Edit Page view directly).
- By default, the template is Pulse V3 Standard Dashboard. You can change the template if you have Dashboard Manager permissions.
- Give the dashboard a Name and a Description. You can also select an icon (or upload an image).
- If you’re a Dashboard Manager, you’ll see the Show as Dashboard checkbox (it defaults to On). If you’re not a Dashboard Manager, it still defaults to On, but the checkbox isn’t shown.
- Set your view and edit permissions.
- In the design section, drag in widgets and arrange your layout.
- Click Save and Close.
Build your Dashboard with widgets
On the Edit Page, use the layout grid to arrange the widgets you or your team needs. Drag items into position and resize them so the most important information is always in view. You can mix and match widgets to create dashboards tailored to your workflow:
- Task Widget
- Recent Activity
- Reviews
- Text
- Resource Bookings
- Recent Uploads
- KPI Widget
- Bar and Pie Report
- Data Table
- Form Data Export
- Image
- Links
- Report Filters
- Finance Snapshot
- Recent Projects
- Portal Collection
- Asset Thumbnails

Editing a Dashboard
From the ellipsis menu on a dashboard tile, you can:
- Edit
- Duplicate
- Delete
- Set as homepage
- Star it to add to your Starred Items list
Users with only view access will see fewer options — they can duplicate the dashboard or set it as their homepage, but not edit or delete it.
Duplicating a Dashboard
Duplicating creates a copy of an existing dashboard:
- The copy is only visible to you by default
- You can customise the layout and widgets without affecting the original
- You can then set permissions for others if needed
