Manage Offices in Pronto

The first step to getting started in Pronto is creating your Offices.
Offices act as the home base for your Users and Projects, and they’re essential for setting up access, security, and workflows.

How to Create an Office

There are two steps:

  1. Quick Create
  2. Edit for Advanced Settings

1. Office Quick Create

The OfficeQuick Create‘ is a simple form, with only basic information required, so you can create your initial Offices quickly.

Use this simple form to create Offices fast.

  • Go to Address Book > Offices
  • Click Add New Office in the top right of the screen (requires Manage Office permission)
  • The only required fields are:
    • Office Name
    • Contact Email

Tip: Set the Category to classify the Office as one of the following:
Your Company
Client
Supplier
Prospect
This helps with filtering and organising Users and Projects later.

2. Edit Office for More Settings

Once your Office is created, you can unlock additional settings by editing it.

  • Go to Address Book > Offices
  • Click Edit on the Office you want to update

Here you can manage:

  • Timesheet and project defaults
  • User Permission overrides
  • Workflow settings
  • Security options

Advanced settings for Offices are:

SettingDescription
Brand MappingControl what Brands will be available to the Users in this office for creating Projects in the Project Wizard.
Timesheet SettingsEnable/Disable Timesheets for the Users in the office. Set default rules for Minimum Time entry and Timesheet Reminders.
HolidaysSet the Default Holidays (Non-Working-Days) for the Office. Holidays will show on the User’s timesheets as a reminder.
Permission OverridesSet the Features available as ‘User Permissions’ for ‘Permission Profiles’ in the Office.
Billing HeadersSet the formatting and logo for the Headers to be used in Finance Document PDFs.
Advanced SettingsManage Finance settings relating to Agresso Integration and Finance Workflow.
Office GroupsSet the Default Groups for an Office to be used in the Standard Workflows. eg: Finance Managers, Reporting Group, PTO Approvers, Alien Users Group.
