The second core part of the Pronto Security Model is:
What can a user actually do in the system?
This is managed through User Permissions — which define access to specific features and tools across Pronto.
Examples of Common User Permissions:
There are over 100 configurable permissions. Some of the most common include:
- Create Projects – Yes / No
- Manage Projects – Yes / No
- Upload Files – Yes / No
- Create Tasks – Yes / No
- Manage Users – Yes / No
- Manage Finances – Yes / No
- View Finances – Yes / No
Permission Profiles
To simplify management, Permissions are grouped into reusable sets called Permission Profiles.
Each user is assigned a Permission Profile via the Address Book, making it easier to manage roles at scale while keeping access tightly controlled.
