FEATURES

New Project Wizard

We’ve introduced a new Project Wizard with a redesigned interface that makes creating projects simpler and more guided.

A clearer project creation experience

The new wizard provides a cleaner layout and a step-by-step flow to help project managers create projects more easily. Fields and options can now be tailored so users only see what’s relevant to them.

Wizard behaviour can be tailored by client

The wizard can now be configured using Agreements.
Agreements allow agencies to define default values, field visibility, and workflow behaviour depending on the client.

Each agreement is uniquely defined by:

  • Master Client
  • Brand
  • Product
  • Billing Customer (for Agresso finance offices)

This means different clients can have different project setup flows, making it easier for project managers to create projects correctly the first time.

Cleaner forms with only the fields you need

Agreements can also control:

  • Which project fields are visible
  • Which fields appear in the advanced section
  • Default values for certain fields

This reduces clutter and helps teams focus only on the information they actually use.

Custom fields and team setup can be preconfigured

The wizard can now automatically:

  • Show only the custom fields relevant to the project
  • Invite users or user groups automatically
  • Show or hide project tasks

This helps ensure projects are set up consistently across teams.

Available to all agencies

The new Project Wizard has been piloted with selected agencies and is now being rolled out to all agencies at go-live.

[#71604] Agresso Job End Date change request on Pulse Job Closing

We’ve improved what happens when a project is closed (set to Complete) in Pronto, so the dates in Agresso reflect the real closure date more accurately and prevent activity being recorded after closure.

What you get with this upgrade

  • Closing a job in Pronto can now shorten the “Financial End Date” in Agresso to today’s date (the date you close it), but only if today is earlier than the current Financial End Date in Agresso.
  • This helps ensure no further time or financial activity can continue after a job is closed, supporting cleaner reporting and revenue recognition.

How it behaves

  • If enabled for your office, when you close a job:
  • Agresso’s Financial End Date is updated to the closure date (today), if that date is earlier.
  • Pronto/Agresso end-related dates are checked and corrected so they don’t sit after the new Financial End Date.
  • Related workcodes/activities in Agresso are also updated so their end dates align with the job closure.

Office-controlled (no surprise changes)

This behaviour is controlled by a client setting:

  • Offices without the setting enabled: job closure works exactly as it does today.
  • Offices with the setting enabled: job closure tightens the Agresso end dates as described above.

Works alongside existing “block timesheets” rules

If your office also uses the rule that sets the timesheet end based on the last submitted timesheet, the system will still respect that — unless the job’s new Financial End Date would make it invalid, in which case it will adjust to keep dates consistent.

Brand Management Enhancements – Phase 3

We’ve improved the Brand and Product request process to make it easier for approvers to correct requests, capture more information, and reduce duplicate records.

Approvers can now correct requests instead of rejecting them

When reviewing a request for a new Master Client, Brand, and Product, approvers can now amend the request if the Master Client or Brand already exists.

Instead of rejecting the request and asking the user to submit it again, the approver can:

  • Select the existing Master Client or Brand
  • Update the request
  • Resubmit it on the user’s behalf

The original requester is notified automatically and receives a link to the updated request.

This helps avoid unnecessary re-submissions and speeds up the approval process.

Request forms now capture more information

The request form now includes additional fields to provide better context during approval:

  • Website (required) – allows requesters to provide a reference site for the brand or product.
  • File Upload (optional) – supporting documents can now be attached to the request.

Approvers can view these details during the approval process and access attachments directly from the request.

Additional Master Client settings during approval

Approvers can now set important Master Client configuration details during the approval process, including:

  • Brand Approval Group
  • Magnitude Approval Group
  • Agresso Integration setting
  • Industry

These settings are saved automatically when the request is approved.

Automatic product creation when creating a brand

When creating a new Brand, you can now optionally enter a Product name.

  • If a product name is entered, the product will be created automatically when the brand is created.
  • If the product field is left blank, only the brand will be created.

This reduces the need for additional manual setup after creating a brand.

Industry tracking for Master Clients

Master Clients now include an Industry field.

This allows you to:

  • Assign an industry when creating or editing a Master Client
  • Search and filter by industry more easily
  • Export product data with the associated industry included

Industry information can also be managed through imports.

Enhancements

[#79055] FE: Clock Icon Formatting on Timesheets

We’ve made it easier to see which timesheet entries have Time on Task recorded.

Previously, you had to click the clock icon on each row to check whether any task time existed. Now, timesheets give you a clear visual indicator—similar to how the comment icon works.

What you get with this upgrade

  • Filled clock icon = this timesheet line has Time on Task logged
  • Empty clock icon = no Time on Task logged for that line

This saves time, reduces clicking, and makes it much easier to spot which entries include task-level time at a glance.

[#79072] FE: Add Ratecard to “Copy Estimate”

We’ve improved the Copy Estimate screen to make it easier to choose the correct estimate before copying.

When you open Create Estimate → Copy Estimate, you will now see extra details for each estimate:

  • Pricelist (shown as a readable name, not a code)
  • Currency
  • Estimate Total

These columns appear across all preset filter views and are shown right after the Job Title, so you can compare estimates at a glance.

FIXES

[#79196] Alien User report does not run

We fixed an issue where the Alien User Report could not run for longer date ranges.

Previously, when trying to generate the report for multiple months, the report would fail or only work for very short ranges (such as a single day). This made it difficult to review and reprocess failed records efficiently.

[#78896] Bug: ‘Save as Copy’ Timeline’s bookings got pushed back to timeline start date

We’ve resolved an issue where using “Save as Copy” on a Timeline incorrectly shifted all timeline items to the new timeline start date.

The copied timeline now preserves the original relative scheduling of all items when a new start date is selected, ensuring timeline items remain aligned with their intended offsets from the start date.
