Projects are the Backbone

In Pronto, everything starts with a Project — it’s the core structure that holds your work together.

What’s inside a project?

Each Project contains the key tools and data needed to get the job done. Common features include:

  • Files – for storing and managing project assets
  • Tasks – to track and assign work
  • Timings – to manage deadlines and schedules
  • Finances – for estimates, costs, and invoicing
  • Wiki Pages – for notes, briefs, and documentation
  • Project Team – to define who’s involved

Think of a Project as the container where everything lives, moves, and connects.

Example Project Dashboard

Project Dashboard

Every Project in Pronto comes with its own Dashboard — giving you a clear view of Project Status and a quick snapshot of recent activity.

The tools and features available for that Project appear as Tabs across the top of the Dashboard — making it easy to jump into Tasks, Files, Finances, and more.

One place. Everything connected.

Customisable Dashboard Widgets
The Project Dashboard is made up of flexible, customisable Widgets — so each project shows exactly what matters most.
Project Managers can configure the dashboard to suit the needs of the project and the team.

Common widgets include:
Project Brief – quick access to key background and scope
Project Team – see who’s involved and their roles
Project Timings – high-level overview of deadlines and phases
Finance Summary – track estimates, costs, and margins
Recent Documents – quick links to the latest uploads
Key Documents – spotlight critical assets
Recent Activity – see what’s changed and who’s updated it
Project Calendar – a visual view of tasks and dates
Everything you need — one glance, one screen.
Customisable ‘Feature Tabs’
The Tabs on each Project Dashboard reflect the features that are active for that project — like Finances, Files, Tasks, or Wiki.
These can be turned on or off by the Project Manager in the Project Settings panel, depending on what’s needed for the work.
