Creating a master client

A Master Client is a simple grouping tool used to link related Brands.
It’s used solely for reporting filters and metadata roll-up — not for permissions or project access.

Who can create a Master Client?

Only users with the ‘Manage Brands’ permission can create or manage Master Clients.

Steps to Create Master Client

  1. Go to the Address Book
  2. Select the Master Client tab
  3. Click Create Master Client
  4. Enter the Name and any relevant details
  5. Click Save

Notes on creating a Master Client:

  • After creation, you can return to edit Brands and link them to this Master Client
  • Changing the Master Client for a Brand does not affect Projects
  • The only change is how those Projects appear in roll-up reports under the new grouping

Master Clients are a simple but powerful way to keep reporting clean, consistent, and scalable.
