Enable the Tasks feature in your project.
The new Tasklist replaces the old Tasks feature within Projects, as a Tab.
If the Tasks tab is not showing in your Project, goto ‘Project Settings’ > ‘Enable Tabs’ and click ‘Enable Tasks Tab’.
Once this is enabled, you will be able to create and manage Tasks within your project.
How to create a Task
To create new Tasks, you have the following options:
- Click ‘Create Task’ button in the Task Utility Navigation area.
- Or, Click ‘Bulk Create Tasks’ from the Ellipsis menu in the Task Utility Navigation area.

Create Task Button
When you click ‘Create Task’ button, a new Row will be added to the Task list. You can then type the Title for your task, directly into the Task list grid.
Once the Task has a title, you can click on the ‘Open’ button to open the Task Detail, if you wish to add information to your task like Description, Status, Tags, Start Date, End Date, Assigned Users.
Bulk Task Create
When you click the ‘Bulk Create Task’ option in the ellipsis option, a ‘Bulk Create’ modal will show.
You may enter a list of items you wish to create as Tasks. The text entered on each row will be converted to a Task using the metadata supplied in the Bulk Task Create form. (See below)
Once the Tasks are created, you can click on the ‘Open’ button for tasks individually to add additional information like Description, Tags, Attachments etc.
