FAQ

Where do I request, update, or cancel my PTO?

All PTO is managed in TalentSpace (not Pronto) as of 2022. This includes all requests, changes, and accruals.

Will approved PTO appear in Pronto?

Yes – but only approved requests. Once approved in TalentSpace, PTO will show in your Timesheet and the Resource Planner. This syncs four times daily: 8am, 12pm, 4pm, and 8pm EST. There may be a delay before updates appear in Pronto.

Why can’t I see my PTO Requests in Pronto?

Only approved PTO appears in Pronto. Pending requests remain visible only in TalentSpace under Absence.

Why can’t I see my Approved PTO on the Resource Planner or my Pronto Timesheets?

PTO approved in TalentSpace will appear in the Resource Planner and on your Timesheets – however, this is not immediate. After the PTO is approved you will need to wait until the TalentSpace-Pronto sync has run. The TalentSpace-Pronto Sync runs four times a day (8 am, 12 pm, 4 pm, 8pm EST)  so there is a delay between when the PTO is approved before it is shown in Pronto.

I cancelled my PTO so why is it still appearing on my Pronto Timesheets?

Cancelled PTO will disappear after the next sync between TalentSpace and Pronto. This happens at 8am, 12pm, 4pm, and 8pm EST.

Why am I able to request PTO in Pronto if my Office uses TalentSpace to manage PTO?

Your office’s Operations User needs to disable PTO access in Pronto by updating the Permission Override settings in Office Settings.

Why does my day off show as only 7 hours in Pronto?

If your scheduled weekly hours in TalentSpace are set to fewer than 40, your PTO day will reflect that. For example, a 35-hour schedule results in 7 hours per day.

How can I manage PTO from 2021 or earlier?

TalentSpace only handles PTO from 2022 onwards. For older requests, contact Pronto Support to temporarily enable editing of historical PTO in Pronto.
